چکیده

The presented work is focused on the biomechanical study of the dental disk implant. The first part of the study deals with the strain analysis of the affected bone tissue and the dental implant loaded in the coronoapical direction by force 190N. The study includes three types of implant anchorage, four degrees (stages) of osseointegration and nine degrees describing the quality of the cancellous bone. Two types of the disk implant were researched: single-disk and double-disk implant. Biomechanical study of the implant was focused on a stress-strain analysis of the affected bone tissue. The biggest influence on the stresses in the bone tissue was primarily an implant anchorage. By the application of correlation relationships between Young modulus and the apparent density of the bone tissue – which is measurable in patients – we achieved the variable presented in this study.

Evaluating the impact of length and thread pitch on the stress distribution in dental implants and surrounding bone using finite element method

longevity of osseointegrated implants are intensely influenced by biomechanical factors. Control of these factors prevents mechanical complications, which include fracture of screws, components, or materials veneering the framework. In this study, the impact of length and threads pitch of dental implants on the stress distribution and maximum Von Mises stress in implant-abutment complex and ja...

مقایسه بیومکانیکی ایمپلنت دندانی تیتانیوم خالص با زیرکونیوم -5/2% نایوبیوم پس از کاشت به روش اجزای محدود

Background and Aims: Improving dental implantation conditions in order to reduce the failure is always desirable for researchers. The aim of this study was to compare two different materials of dental implants from the viewpoint of biomechanical effect after placement and loading in the mandible. Materials and Methods: A 3D model of mandible was designed in the MIMICS 10.01 software. Then,...

Full mouth rehabilitation with fixed prostheses in the case of unaligned and malpositioned implants: clinical report

Full mouth rehabilitation with fixed implant supported prostheses is one of the challenging treatments, because important factors in aesthetic and function should be considered. Implants' alignments and locations should be planned before the insertion unless the improper inclination and location of implants would lead to difficulties in patient's comfort, oral hygiene problem and inability to r...

Generalizations regarding the process and phenomenon of osseointegration. Part I. In vivo studies.

The clinical success of endosseous implants is associated with the formation and maintenance of bone at implant surfaces. Histologic analyses have indicated that bone formation at a variety of implant surfaces is a continuous process that supports long-term functional integration. Based on in vivo observations, several generalizations have been derived regarding the nature of the interface. Exp...

The Effect on Implant Fixation of Soaking Tricalcium Phosphate Granules in Bisphosphonate

The use of bone grafting is a well-established way to enhance initial implant fixation in situations with reduced bone stock. Ceramic bone substitutes are inferior alternatives to autogenous or allogeneic bone graft. Improvement of bone graft substitutes is needed. We investigated whether biomechanical implant fixation and osseointegration of experimental implant grafted with β-TCP granules (Co...
